my name’s savannah, what’s urs?

I come from the beautifully large state of Texas, born and raised in Houston and currently based in Dallas. I model, I write, I make music, and I sell clothes, and if you join me for a while, you’ll see how each bit of these hobbies-turned-career blend together to form the SVNNHSTWRS aesthetic I’ve grown to enjoy sharing with the world.

While still in college, I began to sell clothes online under my brand houseofbimbo, both handmade and sourced locally, and quickly fell in love with the designing, styling, photographing, and modeling aspects of it all. I also began to share my life more on social media, something I had never really done before, not even casually among friends. The successes I had in both of these arenas led me to realize what I feel I’ve always known deep down, that creativity, beauty, and humor was, is, and always will be my passion and at the core of my identity.

After receiving my degree in English from Rice University, I decided to professionally enter the world of fashion as a full-time model, currently represented by my mother agency Kim Dawson in Dallas and Wilhelmina Models in London.

As I continue to work and develop my careers in modeling, my shop houseofbimbo, and my social media spaces where I give glimpses into my life and style, I’ve wanted to return to my academic and early career training as a writer by sharing my ever-growing portfolio here on my blog. I have also begun to work in talent development as a freelance songwriter and music research for new and seasoned musicians alike. I can’t wait to share my personal collection of lyrics and sounds, and until then I do hope we’ll speak again soon.
